That applies everywhere…recently I was at Best Buy, there was a sales associate giving mp3 player demo to a mid aged woman and I heard him saying “it’s really easy to use”. I was wandering if the customer thinks the same.
At the same time I had this thought that the companies can learn a lot from these retail stores. Any product design companies can validate the ease of use of their products at a retail store.

just finished 2nd ed. of “Think” and was impressed, especially the usability of the book itself. I tried amazon for a search by Max page numbers, but that isn’t there yet :)
More than 200 pages and its a serious investment of time.
