Flash, AJAX, Usability, and Search Engine Optimization
Flash, AJAX, Usability, and SEO — “Get with the program, developers and marketers. Don’t assume your target audience wants an enhanced experience, not even advanced Web users. Analyze your target audience’s search behavior. Don’t skip SEO’s usability aspect.”
Nothing too special in this article. It offers the typical introduction to usability and why it is a good idea for your company.
It also has a dark side: Get with the program, developers and marketers. The problem with this comment is that it sets up a false dilemma between usability and marketing. Many usability professionals falsely believe that marketing is anti-usability. Many marketing folks think that usability is either fluff or that it’s just focus group research.
The truth is that marketing and usability go hand in hand. Both camps have a lot to learn from each other. The tone of Get with the program, developers and marketers is negative and I don’t like to see it. Marketers, on behalf of all usability professionals, I apolgogize for fighting with you guys!

I dont know but why i don find such informative and profitable blogs so often,I suspect blogging world is becoming so small that we cant find such lucrative blogs like this one.

Hi there-
I appreciate your feedback. However, if you only read a single column and not my series, not once have I ever said that usability, SEO, and marketing don’t go hand in hand.
You might want to get the big picture. I think you formed an opinion without all of the data, so to speak.

I dont know but why i don find such informative and profitable blogs so often,I suspect blogging world is becoming so small that we cant find such lucrative blogs like this one.i realy thank ful to you.. i wana u make more blogs to this type. than we all get more information.

I suspect that’s thereason general public want to read blog….Internet visitors generally create blogs to declare themselves or their secret views. Blog grant them same matter on the monitor screen what they specifically needed,so as the above stuffs declared it.

I am glad to post my views and points in this blog, but I must say that webmaster of this blog has done a very great job to make his blog more informative and more discussable but unfortunately everthing is same here that more than 80% in this and other blogs post their comments for making spam!!!, so i will really all this spam links to google band tool, because webmaster makes blogs for making discuss and for sloving each other problems. thanks http://www.gordoniihoodia.net
