68% Improvement in Just One Year
Here’s something I poster over on the Warrior Forums. It really applies to anyone so I’m reporting it here for your pleasure!

I’ve got a little tip for Warriors getting ready for 2007. If you’re like me, you’re constantly trying to improve and prosper.
Planning and action are critical to success. But how do you do it?
Well, a while ago I took action and read all about it. I learned a little secret…
While you can plan on really huge improvements, and while you can swing for the grand slam, and while you can shoot for the moon, you can also strive for little, continuous victories. Day after day after day.
In fact, you can make this easy on yourself. Decide that you are going to improve but ONLY 1% per week on something. Pick one thing (big or small!) and commit to just
improving 1% each and every week.
If you’re making $100 per week, then shoot for $101 by the next week. If you’re writing 5 articles each week, write 5 articles and and outline for the next one. I’m sure you get the idea.
Shoot for The 1% Improvement every single week. Even with setbacks in a single week, by the end of the week, you CAN do it. You are able to improve by 1%, because 1% is what anyone can do!
Here’s the magic…
If you improve by 1% each and every week — which YOU can do — you’ll be up 68% in one year!
Do I have my math wrong? Nope. You see, 1% x 52 weeks seems to be 52%. However, it isn’t. Due to the magic of compounding gains week after week you’ll be up 68% in just one year.
Imagine applying this principle all your life. Imagine applying to more than one thing in your life. Before long, your hopes and dreams will no longer be hopes and dreams…
You’ll have what you want. You’ll have exactly what you want by just making a commitment today to jack up your performance by 1%.
Like many other Warriors have said about many other things, all you have to do is take action. Make 1% improvements a part of your life. Give 1% more each week. Learn 1%
more each week. Profit 1% more each and every week.
68% … and much more … is yours!

I really like your idea and the essence of your theory is right. I practise this in running
But it is all about improve your productivity, by doing more in the same amount of time. But time is limited, so, for example, if you would like to write 68% more articles by the end of the year, that results in let’s say 8 articles per week.
This would be a great result, but it also means that you have to be 68% more productive.
You probably have to add the time element in this idea.
