Apple .Mac Page = UX Marketing

I’m kinda sorta maybe thinking about a Mac. I don’t really need a new computer but I’m poking around at some options.

In my travels, I ran across the Apple .Mac page. In the right navigation the have a section called Your life. On the Internet.

  • Publish in One Click with iWeb
  • Introducing a whole new way to share photos: Photocasting
  • Say it all with ad-free email, iChat, and iCards

They talk about benefits and effective user experience first, features second, and products last. This is very effective, especially with folks wishing for simplicity.

To the Apple Cult: I know you already know all this. ;-)

Definition: UX = user experience
