John S. Rhodes of WebWord is writing a book!

The blog title says it all. I’m definitely writing a book in 2006. I’m finishing the proposal up this weekend and we’ll go from there. It won’t be long before I start posting stuff on WebWord about it.
And yes, to answer your question, it will be about usability and user experience. It is something that I’ve touched on a few times. If you are interested in “user experience” I’m confident that this book will be one that you want. Practical, no nonsense, hands on tips.
It isn’t more the same: You do not currently have any book like this on your shelf. I don’t and I have virtually all books on UX, IA, user experience, interaction design, yada yada.
If you are interested in knowing more about The Book please leave a comment and I’ll be in touch. The more my publisher knows about the demand, the better off we’ll all be.
Your comments matter.

Yes, I was made aware of it a couple of months ago. It appears that it is only a problem in IE (except IE7, which works). I am working on a solution.
Ahh.. sorry wrong page for that comment! (please delete)
What I tried to write here was: Of course I am interested in your book
Yes, feedback along the way would be great (I’m thinking of ET’s upcoming book, for which he’s been posting full pages)
My apologies in advance but who is ET?
I am thinking – ET = Edward Tufte (just a guess tough)
I am interested too….
[...] I’m looking for examples of really great email signatures for the book I’m writing. There’s a catch. The signature abolsutely must include some “call to action” related to UX. It has got to include a link to a UX article or web site. Or, maybe it includes a wonderful UX quote that has generated a lot of interest. [...]
[...] Back in early February I stated that I was writing a book. In the middle of February I posted a sample chapter (User Experience Business Judo: Using Project Momentum to Your Advantage). Right now I’m over thirty pages, which translates to 10 chapters out of the 40 that I’ve mapped out. [...]
I’m always interested :)
Let me know if the JAW crew can help with anything… good luck!
Nice site I found … Plan on coming back later to spend a little time there.

My main concern is that you can’t guarantee every page of your website will be included in the SERPs. Considering I’m constantly adding new products to my company’s website, I need to be sure that customers can find them as soon as possible.http://www.seoptimizerz.com
