Mini Usability — On which side is the gas tank? (There are better solutions than suggested by this photo.)
Photocopier interface usability — In great need of better icons.
Air Conditioner Control — You’ll find it behind the door.
Multiple choice — Select two. Or, err, none of the above.
Water Bottles of … Lighter Fluid — “They didn’t even bother to add any colorant to the fluid or warning labels to indicate that this was flammable and an acceralant – for all anyone knows it’s a new high powered energy drink!”
Floor 2.5 — Also, which floor is the ground floor?
Which clock for which city? — Terrible positioning, terrible grouping.
Apple vs Microsoft — LOL ;-)
Best Website for Communication Between Users — What the UPA thinks.

John – these are great. Reminds me of baddessigns.com or Design of Everyday Things (I know you are fond of this book – so am I).
I have been thinking for a long time that a new site with some cursory but thoughtful analysis (like baddesigns) is necessary.
Interested in partnering with someone on this? Just a fun side project, but I am afraid I would have some dry spells without any meaningful contributions. I would love to chat.
I like this idea.
1. Image or screenshot of something really good * OR * really bad.
2. Simple analysis, perhaps covering 1-2 usability principles.
3. Comments enabled to let others join the discussion.
Basically what you said but with some numbers to make it more official. ;-)
