this posting - Classic Webword Postings contains a link error in the first link - WebWord Monthly Statistics.

It has an extraneous 'http://' at its start which leads to the reason you are redirected to the Microsoft site. You can easily copy the link into the address bar and edit the extra out to get there.

This is caused probably because you have never reset the Microsoft defaults for when a malformed link is encountered.
Maybe the setting 'Show friendly HTTP error messages' performs the redirection; I'm not sure.</description>
