I am shocked at the poor usability of Google Reader. It just doesn't work as a rss reader/manager although it did help me to appreciate bloglines a bit more afterbI had used GReader for a few days.

Google has grown more quickly than is healthy and appears to more worried about spending its war chest than anything else.

I think that Yahoo are catching up with Google in the innovation race and 2006 will be the year we see what Yahoo is capable of.
