I don’t know if you read a blog called Simplicity by Prof. John Maeda at MIT. When I saw the advertisements from Philips, I kinda wondered if he had something to do with the campaign, so I wrote to him and asked him. He mentioned that he was part of the campaign. Check out his blog for his thoughts on simplicity (not on the Philips campaign though).

I thought about blogging this myself a couple of weeks back, when I saw the ad on TV (in the UK). I number Philips products among the least usable I own, and deliberately avoid them now.
