Wet Sock Treatment for Colds

Humans are funny little beans. I just found out that you can prevent a cold by wearing wet socks! It works like this. Warm your feet up first. A heat pad or hot water will do the trick. Dry them off, if they are wet. Next, take some thin cotton socks and soak them in very cold water. Wring them out. Then, put them on your feet. Finally, put wool socks on over the cotton socks and go to bed, or at least sit around for a few hours.

Supposedly this works pretty well. It does something funny with your circulation. It also sends out a false alarm so that red and white blood cells are called into action. Bizarre, don’t you think?

Don’t just listen to me. Read more about it…
