Users Reluctant to Break the Net Habit

I’m a heavy internet user, and recently I went for a 3-week overseas holiday where I didn’t touch a computer, let alone access the internet.
I didn’t miss it at all. It was a holiday in every sense of the world - not just from work, but also from my normal recreational habits.
However I’m not sure I could do without internet access so easily if I was left in my normal environment, as the people were in this experiment. I suspect that “internet addiction” (to use a dumb phrase) is actually complex, and is only really “addictive” when associated with other lifestyle factors.
