Gbrowser, gBrowser, or just gbrowser?
Earlier this year I predicted that Google was going to launch an instant messenger client. It might not happen in 2004, but I still think it will happen. Furthermore, more than 3 years ago, I explained why Google should develop a web browser or internet client. Good prediction? Was I ahead of my time? Am I nutty?
To figure some of this out, I did some investigation. Who owns gbrowser.com? That’s right, Google. (Speculators: As of 21-Sept-2004, no one owns ginstant.com, if you care.)
In any event, to fuel speculation and rumors, I’m going to say that we will see the gbrowser some time soon. Actually, my best guess is that we will see something in the second half of 2005.
