I use Firefox as my primary browser and I love it. Once you have all of the plugins installed it is easy to use and rarely gives you any trouble. Tabbed browsing is awesome, just Ctrl+click on links and they open in a new tab rather than a new window. Here is a great extension for those who spell as poorly as I do.
Link

I am in the process of switching to FireFox from Safari. Safari has been crashing on me a lot, won't handle some basic javascripts, and has difficulty not loading previous versions of my site even after I clear the chace and history.

I also loaded the developer extension/tools into FirFox which is helpful. Though I won't use half the functionality.

Here's a utility for porting your Safari bookmarks over to FireFox. You have to do some bookmark management once they have been ported, but it makes it much simpler than revisiting all those sites.
