How You Walk is How You Drive
I’ve been to several places around the world. I’ve noticed something that I would like to confirm with other people. When I am in a country where people drive on the right hand side of the road, people also walk on that side of the sidewalk. If someone is heading at me when I am walking in the U.S. for example, I’m forced to walk on the right part of the sidewalk. If I am in Bangalore, India, on the other hand, the opposite is true. People drive on the left side of the road and I am forced to walk on the left part of a sidewalk as people come at me. Have other people experienced this “walk like you drive” phenomenon?
