Online Education

Online education is an education system quite different from traditional trend of seeking knowledge in an institution. This type of education has no concept of college going and face to face meetings with the tutor. Online education is basically “education learnt by using computer and internet to get required educational components.”
Online education is also known as E. learning, distance education, web oriented education etc

Need for Online Education

It is true this is a technological age and everybody is time conscious. No one wants to waste time in traveling to some institution for getting a valuable degree while he has a lot of responsibilities in routine life such as, family caring, house caring, earning etc. So online education provides the opportunity to such time conscious students to get their desired degrees and they have no need to stop or skip their existing business or work.
Another reason for promotion of online education is business earning purpose of various universities, who are well aware of the importance of internet and are effectively using this medium of learning for transferring education to the students living in far away areas or who can’t stay away home their homes and work.

Salient features of online education

Online learning enhances the opportunities for people who are involved in full time job or caring for their families with their earnings. In online education system, without purchasing books and other required material a student can get education because everything is available on the internet and students also have the chance to make discussions with subject experts in planned timings. This education system provides them the opportunity to get high standard modern education in relatively cheaper rates than that of formal education, with the choice that they can take lecture at that time which is convenient to them. Online education system lets its students become well aware of modern business tools and technologies.Adult students can earn higher degrees if they feel hasitation to join traditional classes.Children can widen their vision by joining a wide range of IQ testing programms. Business community can use this education system to traine their staff members without making their business upset, because a variety of modern business techniques and terms practicedg by successful companies are available there.A number of colleges and universities are offering a variety of higher level degree and certificate programms, and proper guidance is required for appropriate choice of the subjects, so that students can save their money and time. Finally, it is need of the hour to make online education system more valuable, successive, reliable and convenient for the students. Moreover trained teachers and tutorial staff is required which can handle student’s unknown problems and make this online education system more effective.

I was watching a show about the China Auto Show 2004 last week. They said VW has something like 35% of the market. And I think the number of cars has increased something like 600% in the last 5 years.

I don't remember the exact numbers, but it was incredible growth in a short time span.

I dont know if it's OSHA standards or some other, but here in the US, most industrial machines have red for on (dangerous), green for off (no moving parts). I think its an international standard.

Sometimes when you pay for things in China they examine the money very carefully to ensure that its real. This happened in both McDonalds and Mr Donut.

Went for a walk in Shanghai last night in some of the smaller streets in the City. The thing that struck me was the pockets of poverty still visible amongst all the commercial development. People also enjoy sitting out on the street in the heat and choose not turn on lights in their house. Amazing place.

In China, red means stop and green means go, same as in USA. Wondering why you got a wrong expression.
