CBS MarketWatch — “Online visitors don’t like sites that fail to respond to questions, make opting-out of information-sharing difficult or have Web pages that take a long time to load, Fairchild said, based on consumer surveys conducted by his company. And when they don’t like something, they’re willing to move on to sunnier climes: Twenty percent of consumers said they have abandoned Web sites in favor of competitors’ sites because of unsatisfactory experiences, according to a consumer survey in February by The Customer Respect Group.”
