I’ve been very impressed with Baekdal.com and I suggest you visit the site. I don’t care for the design, but the content is wonderful. For example:

    They say:

    Make you body font-size 70% (the exact same as 11px Lucida/Tahoma), then you can use em’s to size everything else - 1em is then the minimum size you can use. It is a quick and easy way to ensure that you never make your font-sizes too small to read.

    In other words, make your text 70% of the size that users have set as their preferred default. Great advice if you want to piss your users off.

    Here’s some better advice if you respect your users: make your body font-size 100% (or 1 em), and then use ems to size headings etc. from that.
