WebWord Weblog Posting

Posting Date: August 18, 2002

WebWord Comments -- I am feeling the effects of affiliate program detritus. I've been online for many years now, like many of you here. WebWord has been around over four years. In that amount of time, I have signed up for several affiliate programs. I even wrote an article about them several years ago. Well, I just received an email notification stating that I Earned Cash !! from another referral. Oh boy, I never remember signing up for an affiliate program for this this web site. But, maybe I did for some reason. Maybe to make a point during a conference presentation or to show a friend how easy it is? I don't know. The web weaves as the web does, we move forward, and life goes on.

No, just a few minutes ago I logged into the affiliate system that is used by that web site. My account shows that I actually earned $1.64 from the sale. Too funny.

The question of the hour is - why did John link to that web site without the affiliate info in the URL? 'm stocking up on leather skirts tonight. Lost revenue, my friend.

Damn typos. I was too distracted by the perfumes and fragrances to focus on my typing.
