WebWord Comment -- Jonathan Quail of Quirk Solutions had two comments about my article on Usable Marketing. The first point was that a web site should first be positioned as a resource for people and then it can offer products and services to help people. This reverses the hard sell approach. Help first, sell second. The second point was that email newsletters should give users useful information first, and then provide links back to your web site, and other sites that provide useful information, perhaps even competitors. What do you think?
