I totally agree. What has happened is horrific and unheard of, but what is yet to come is what's frightening me the most. The guys that have the power to make the next move are going to have to think extremely carefully about what move to make. I keep likening it to schoolkids fighting in the playground - the first reaction is to try and hit back twice as hard, but this may not be the best option. It's a difficult one - the US needs to show that this kind of behaviour cannot be tolerated but at the same time any kind of hard retaliation could really land us *all* in a lot of trouble.
