Have you had any kind of response from them? I have tried twice to simply renew my Norton AntiVirus subscription, which came with a free 90 day trial with my Dell laptop. I became so upset with what they wanted me to do (I have no printer and the instructions are several pages long) and what other options were offered (such as a phone no. I could call and get help with the renewal, but would cost me twelve dollars!) that I haven't been able to go back and deal with it. Every day a window pops up on my computer and asks if I'm ready to "renew now" or "renew in one day." I just click on the renew in one day and I think it may still actually be working. I'm not sure about that though. I wrote twice to Symantec explaining that they really needed to come up with a better way. I told them I renewed my McAffee AntiVirus subscription on my home computer with one or two clicks. They did all the work, not me. I received no response. I believe I wrote once more and told them I would probably just have McAffee installed instead since I couldn't figure out how to renew, and wasn't willing to pay an additional twelve dollars for someone to help me with it (or I may have included this in my first email, I don't remember for certain). I really can't figure out why a large company like Symantec isn't able to figure out and fix this problem very quickly. It almost seems to me like they just don't care, but that doesn't make sense. It's quite perplexing to me. I just completed reading a number of your short articles on Information Architecture for a graduate school course. I really enjoy the way the information is presented as well as the content. Thanks for all the good work. -XXXXX XXXXXXX.
