ITEM #1
A new WebWord.com interview is now online:

In the Trenches with a Weblog Pioneer
Brigitte Eaton is the force behind eatonweb.com, an
excellent weblog I visit several times per week. In this
interview I ask her questions about usability, her
readers, her weblog portal, and weblog commercialization.
She also makes some predictions about weblogs, telling
us where they might be headed.
You can read the interview here:

ITEM #2
WebWord.com Guru Interviews #1 at Fatbrain
On Thursday 9-Dec-99 I received an email from Judy
Kirkpatrick, Fatbrain.com's VP and GM of eMatter.
She wrote to tell me that The WebWord.com Usability
Interviews held the #1 position in eMatter sales,
which they just started reporting. Therefore, on the
very first day of sales reporting, the e-book held
the top e-book position. And, I'm happy to say, it
still holds the leadership position.
Here is the listing of top selling eMatter titles:
--> http://www1.fatbrain.com/ematter/bestsellers.asp?vm=e
Once again, I'd like to remind everyone that all the
content is freely available on WebWord.com. However,
many people have found value in having all the
interviews in one file. And, the price is right. At
$3.95, the e-book is a bargain. Still other folks want
to support WebWord.com, and this is their way of
helping. (Thank you for your support!)
And remember, this would be handy reference material
for a company report, or to convince the management
that usability and strategic internet knowledge is
crucial to success. There are plenty of tips in this
e-book that would improve your business.
Once again, if you have purchased the book, I would
be happy to send you a Word 2000 or HTML version so
that your links will work. I'll take you on your word.
If you'd like to invest in the book, follow this link:

p.s. I've been told that this e-book can probably be
written off your taxes as training material.
